Elevation tries to blend sci-fi and emotional drama like A Quiet Place, but doesn’t quite pull it off. Anthony Mackie is solid, and the eerie visuals are decent, but the story is slow and a bit messy. It has potential, but lacks the tension and heart that made A Quiet Place work.
