From the mind of Russell T Davies (Queer As Folk), this dramedy from the UK cuts like the sharp cucumber-slicing knife seen in the opening of each episode. Seasoned actor, Vincent Franklin, guides us through the satirical 8-episode mini-series with comedic aplomb as his character, (46-year-old protagonist) Henry Best, struggles with his life and sexuality as an aging gay man in the 21st century.
Fast paced, funny, sometimes poignant, and always loaded with acerbic dialog, each episode had me looking forward to the next, and after all, what more could you ask from a TV series?
