Jordan Peele continues to disappoint as this movie does not know if it wants to be a football movie, a horror, movie, or a wet dream. The reality is it does none well. The one area it does succeed in is correctly showing the toxic fandom and obsession around sports and football in America. The fact that more people strive for this profession over the billion other professions shows a warped mindset. I know fans who transform into monsters when it comes to their teams and that is not something they should be proud of. However, on all levels- the effects are not great. The story is bad. There is no suspense or fear. There is no surprise⦠everyone already knows what is happening. Another big let down. Do better.
