Liam Neeson is such perfect casting. He is so much fun as Frank Drebin Jr. Captures the tone and humor of the originals precisely. If you liked those, you’ll probably get on with this one. Nods to plenty other films—Double Indemnity, Mission: Impossible’s, poking at the tropes and plot devices in fun ways. Paul Walter Hauser is great in this too and I would have loved a little more screen time for him. Pam Anderson was seriously excellent here though. Possibly my favorite performance of this film. She has great chemistry with Liam and her comedic timing and delivery was pitch perfect and an absolute delight every time she’s on screen. Skiddly-bop.
