The concept is oddly fresh. It's nature survival mixed with slasher horror. Jai goes all in as the unhinged killer, delivering a genuinely creepy performance that keeps the tension high. Harrison does a solid job as the girl trying to survive, grounding the film with just enough emotional weight. The kills are brutal, not for the faint of heart.
The ending was a little disappointing. Not terrible, just underwhelming, but I won’t spoil it. Still, Dangerous Animals leans into its chaos and delivers exactly what it promises: creepy, bloody entertainment with a unique twist.
