The Beast Games is definitely a spectacle to say the least. At one point you're embracing the entertainment of the suffering of a group of people taking a small deal of $10-20 grand for the sacrifice of their fellow man.
And then as further episodes come up when hundreds of thousands or even a million are up for grabs, the Beast man's assistants would jeer with their high pitch voices like small winged imps trying to lure contestants to their side.
When a show that tries to elevate the human heart with quotes like "My integrity is not for sale" gets countered with the Beast Man whispering to the viewer "Everyone has a price." You really start to see the type of audience this piece of entertainment is trying to cultivate.
What is the intention, behind the show? Is it to replicate a Squid Games as closely as possible, that company as blackened like Amazon could pit needy people against each other? A test of the human spirit? Or a competition of morality, whose morals stand higher than the others? But to what ends? Higher morals for just some extra cash?
