Fun movie. Captain Marvel isn’t insufferable in this movie like she is in every other Marvel production. Kamala Khan and Photon are strong supporting roles that help share the burden of carrying this movie. I just rewatched Ms Marvel prior to viewing The Marvels. It’s not necessary, but definitely makes you care more about the Khan family dynamic and to care for Kamala’s origin story.
