1969. Four strangers check in at the El Royale Hotel. The hotel is deserted, staffed by a single desk clerk. Some of the new guests' reasons for being there are less than innocent and some are not who they appear to be.

The most Quentin Tarantino film to not be made by him and I freaking loved it! The performances were fantastic! Chris Hemsworth is a scene stealer! The plot for me was a hell of a ride. Not seeing any trailers I didn’t know exactly where it was going and a lot of the times it was unpredictable. I have this feeling I enjoyed this more than others, but that’s okay. The novelty of the hotel being across state lines was a cool/weird niche that I loved. I can’t wait to rewatch this.
