“Gor”, loosely adapted from John Norman’s sword-and-planet series, it awkwardly sidesteps the book’s themes of dominance and submission, resulting in a film that never quite knows what it wants to be. It drifts between juvenile fantasy and campy softcore, with a tone that feels more confused than provocative. If you're a fan of low-budget '80s fantasy or enjoy watching so-bad-it’s-good cinema, it might earn a spot on your late-night list. Personally, it didn’t hold my attention.
