Like the cast, like the music, and it's mostly a solid drama. But ultimately, it's sanctimonius Hollywood drivel about the One Good Paramedic in the city. Tye Sheridan's Ollie is an outsider, a whistleblower, an innocent bystander to other people's awfulness. It's a George Clooney or Matt Damon kind of role.
