All about textures and feeling everything you see on screen.
The plot isn’t as elusive as I worried it’d be. But it is disjointed and a bit of a “look what we thought up!” at times but never do you want to give up and stop watching. Enjoyed the look, the needle-drop giallo soundtrack (someone on YT Music has made a playlist I’m sure), and the references to more traditional classic films like Leave Her to Heaven, Rear Window, Kiss Me Deadly, Laura, Vertigo and the obvious Lynch-looking nightmare stuff. Some of the craggily faces will excite nordic noir obsessed.
I was bracing for some slap-dash stoner nonsense but this isn’t that.
