Welcome to a trip down the multiverse that, kind of, works. The animation style looks like a movie being run through a pencil drawing filter, however, it does give it a level of simplicity that is a great juxtaposition when compared to the plot. It's hard to say much about this show without giving spoilers, so I'll leave it at this; if you love family dramas and are a fan of sci-fi, especially ones that have to do with changing realities, you will love this. On the other hand, if you don't like the whole idea of the multiverse, skip it.
