Heck, for me, Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro in the same film is worth the price of a ticket. The restaurant scene they have together, where they simply converse over a cup of coffee, is cinematic gold.
Now add Val Kilmer and Tom Sizemore, a solid high-drama-driven script, extremely well-orchestrated non-gratuitous action that compliments the plot, and wallah, you have a darn good flick.
I love it when a movie isn't about the action, but rather the action is about the movie.
