Historical fresco recounting the life and times of the Prophet Mohammed, the last of the Abrahamic religion, in the sense that, according to Islam, he completed and sealed the monotheistic revelation made to Abraham.

Heavily flawed, by design, by not picturing in any way the prophet Muhammad. Its an incredibly tricky endevour, using POV and others talking about what Muhammad said or did offscreen. This should appeal to believers but, sadly, its hard to follow and relate by effectively excluding its main character. There's a lot thats good though, the production values, cast, score, tone, scope, and love for the material. This is a must-see for fans of historical epics, and for the limited amount of content on the subject.
