Grew up playing Sonic on the sega genesis and I got to say I had a blast watching this. Now I’m not going to judge this like I would a drama... this is a family movie, but a great one at that. I also think this is probably one of the best video game adaptations I’ve seen. Sonic is funny and entertaining. The amount of Easter eggs hidden are great. Plus Jim Carey gives a hilarious and over the top performance as dr. Robotnic. Yes there are plot holes and tons of cliches, but I can totally look past that and enjoy it for what it is. Hope this gets a sequel!
