Star Wars at it's very best. While it's definitely a slow burn of a show and doesn't have shoot-outs and action all that often, there's certainly no wasted episodes. Everything builds with purpose and that purpose is usually to move you further and further to the edge of your seat until a climactic 3-episode finale (Meaning every 3 episodes sort of tell their own story and you should expect to want to watch these in 3's).
It's prestige drama like what you would expect from HBO, but in the star wars universe. The acting is on that same level with many line deliveries that will stick with you long after. This is what good star wars, written by someone with a well thought out plan, and written for a grown up audience looks like.
