A documentary I've always wanted to watch after reading about it in Nintendo Power over 20 years ago. What a story! I finally got around to watching it after that dirty cheater Billy Mitchell finally got caught out for cheating recently and the documentary delivered a genuine icon of documentary filmmaking. The drama between all these sweaty nerdtastic weirdos defending the cromagnon jock cheater up to and through the genuine talent of just a regular dude was something to witness. It cannot be understated the lengths those conspiratorial losers went to discredit Steve, but the documentary captures it all in splendid fashion. Over twenty years later and Steve has only been vindicated more and more as time has gone on, and I hope he and his family are doing well. What a legend, and one that serves as a great timecapsule of the era.
