As I viewed "The Cockleshell Heroes," it became evident that it shares the same plot as "The Dirty Dozen. " It is retold with an added dash of American bravado and focuses on the misfit soldiers embarking on a suicide mission. Despite the similarities, it was watchable, and notably the first to present this story.
