Seks måneder efter udbruddet af den uhyggelige sygdom, der fik englænderne til at slagte hinanden, har militæret fået bugt med virussen og dens ofre. Folk begynder at vende tilbage for at genopbygge London, men desværre er virussen ikke helt væk. Faktisk er den mere end klar til at forvandle folk til sultne zombier som aldrig før.

A whelming sequel that has a lot going for it but is ultimately ruined by the worst duo of children to ever grace horror cinema. Rare is it that I sincerely wish for children to die in a movie, but those little freaks are directly responsible for every single atrocity that occurs from the moment they get on their bike and escape the quarantine zone--and yet the film itself never once treats them as anything other than the most important people in the entire universe because they are innocent children who do no wrong. Unfortunately karma never catches up to them, but the rest of the film has some great scenes that almost make up for the horrid plot contrivences that allowed them in the first place.
