Embry gives a performance unlike anything he has done before. He is a rather capable actor and does a really good job. The film continues recent films that explore the emotional turmoil and trauma men can experience due to loneliness and other life factors that they are supposed to “man up” over. This one has a twist that I won’t spoil but the twist is pretty easily seen. The movie was engaging and the performances pleasing. Bridget budget, some script revisions, and few other tweaks and it could have been a movie that had more impact. Still, seeing Embry in a role not his norm… good stuff!
