Checking out more William Fruet is always a pleasure, every time I do watch another one of his titles I give him great praises. This guy is truly an undiscovered gem and it's baffling. I'm nearing completion of his horror and exploitation parts of his filmography and while some are better than others- none of them are regrettably bad and they all manage to be fun. That's the case with Spasms. It's not one of Freut's best but dammit there's still some exciting scenes happening within. The only real gripe with Spasms is how uneventful the first hour is which isn't a good case for a giant mutant killer snake movie. You don't even see the snake until the final third of the run time. There's an absolute EPIC kill around the sixty-five minute mark that will leave you geeking. The only energy found that can match that poster art.
