Overall, I enjoyed this movie and the story. It's beautifully filmed, has a a good music soundtrack, and is well written. Directing and editing are a bit quirky. Aside from Sweeny, the acting was pretty good too. Sweeny's performance is cringe-worthy as the stuttering waitress who wants to be a country singer, though. I've never been a fan of hers, I think she's an awful actor in most of her roles...and this one is no exception. Halsey's wig was awful, too...but at least her acting was OK. Still, I liked this movie enough to get past Sweeny's cheesy performance. It's a worthwhile watch.
