Probably time to take the tape out. With the exclusion of As Above, As Below, it is a horrible mess. It’s as if the producers just gave up and handed the reigns to an am-dram, improv group and said react to the practical effects team. None of it is cohesive anymore, and I got the impression that the only interaction most had had with the horror genre, was watching trailers to 90’s slashers and gathering that all that happens in these movies is blood squirting and constant, constant, inane squealing and screaming… nothing else. It’s repetitive to the nth degree, silly and not in a funny way. Where the first few V/H/S instalments had some real fear and terror, this is just bad comedy, with a tonne of fake blood. Only avoids a 1 due to AAAB chapter.
