Personally, I've never managed to be interested in any TV series, but I decided to give Breaking Bad a go since I had heard it's good.
In the first season I was already hooked and throughout the whole show, each episode is constructed incredibly well to keep you ready to go into the next with just enough questions to keep you wanting to see how or if they are answered.
I'd personally give it an 8/10 (or 4 stars), it's a great show that I enjoyed watching through.
