In this multiverse story Deadpool is approached by a man named Paradox who intends on vaporizing his entire universe because apparently it's not supposed to go on living without the now deceased hero Wolverine. Deadpool kidnaps another version of Wolverine to replace but this only results in Paradox banishing both Deadpool and Wolverine.

what an embarrassment. this is utterly devoid of substance. no real character work, no real stakes, no real plot — just hype moments and fan service. this is exactly the “theme park” movie we claim the mcu isn’t. i cannot wait to get out of this multiverse saga so we can get back to movies with substance
