Inside of his book, adventurous Harold can make anything come to life simply by drawing it. After he grows up and draws himself off the book's pages and into the physical world, Harold finds he has a lot to learn about real life.
I enjoyed reading the children's book by Crockett Johnson today before watching the movie Harold and the Purple Crayon (August 2, 2024) today in theaters on August 3, 2024. I have enjoyed how Harold, Moose & Porcupine came into the real world because they thought they wanted to actually find Crockett Johnson which he was calling him, Old Man. I think calling somebody an Old Man is really rude. I still liked how he made everything come to life by drawing something with the purple crayon and I just also could imagine what would it be like to make things come to life with the purple crayon. I remember the funny part when he made the helicopter fly through the store and made a bad damage and police were investigating the accident. The real world is not like Harold's world like the book. He was thinking about fun things and stuff. I like this movie and I am going to hope to see it again on another year, and I will hope to keep reading the book, Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson as often as I want.
