Remy, a resident of Paris, appreciates good food and has quite a sophisticated palate. He would love to become a chef so he can create and enjoy culinary masterpieces to his heart's delight. The only problem is, Remy is a rat. When he winds up in the sewer beneath one of Paris' finest restaurants, the rodent gourmet finds himself ideally placed to realize his dream.

This one didn’t land with me as well as other Pixar films. This is by no means bad, I’m surprised that I wasn’t into this more. Rent is adorable and I love all the scenes where he’s communicating with humans by nodding and etc. The main act of him pulling hair to get the main human to do things, kinda got old fast. I think the reason this didn’t connect with me as well as others is that I wasn’t really a fan of the voices. The biggest positive is that every frame is packed with beauty and of course Brad Bird knows how to make things exciting. I didn’t hate this by any means, I just expected to like this a lot more.
