I have so many questions: Why oh why didn't they hire a Mexican cast? Why didn't they film in Mexico? Why is it nominated for so many awards? Who is making these decisions? I guess we'll never know... I honestly tried to give this movie a chance for what (I think) it was trying to be but I just can't get over how cringey the Spanish is, the dialogue and the pronunciation. Yikes! Who talks like that????
