An purely dialogue driven sci-fi film that explores artificial intelligence in a manner similar to a thought experiment. Imagine a scenario where a AI chat is created with a primary directive of keeping children safe by luring and catching online sexual predators. What sorts of moral quandries arise out of utilizing such a tool? What happens 2 years, 10 year 40 years down the road as this AI continues to evolve? I love this kind of thought provoking sci-f that has exceptionally well realized world building, but focuses almost purely on the minutiae of those science fiction concepts. Also, inspired casting to have Bishop from Aliens play the counter to our AI in the third act.
