The acting, costumes, and cinematography are all really excellent...but...the story sucks pretty fucking bad and the entire film suffers from that. While, it's worth a watch, I'd reccomend Glass Onion, or Decision to Leave as recent muder mysteries to watch instead or in addition to The Pale Blue Eye.
