Rewatched this with the fam. (Initial review). I know it’s stupid and non-sensical, but I love it. I’m fairly certain that we watched an alternate cut from what I saw in the theater, but these films are so immediately forgettable that I have no idea what was different. In a weird way, being forgettable makes the puzzles in these escape rooms totally re-watchable. The production values of the set designs of the escape puzzles are really well done enough; and the puzzles themself seem difficult but solvable, even if the idea of someone actually constructing them is completely ludicrous. Don’t care. Bring on Escape Room 3, please.
