As a big fan of the original series, this movie was a fun throwback. It looks great (a huge budget will do that) and it has a story that goes along with the original series material. Will Smith is OK in the lead role, Kevin Kline is hammy as his sidekick, Kenneth Branagh is ridiculous as the villain, and Selma Hayek is gorgeous as ever. Even though it's cheesy, it was a fun couple hours rewatching this one. The giant mechanical spider was cool, and something the original series could have never pulled off.
