Schindler's List

Schindler's List
Oskar Schindler is a vain and greedy German businessman who becomes an unlikely humanitarian amid the barbaric German Nazi reign when he feels compelled to turn his factory into a refuge for Jews. Based on the true story of Oskar Schindler who managed to save about 1100 Jews from being gassed at the Auschwitz concentration camp, it is a testament to the good in all of us.

The greatest sufferings open the door for the greatest of compassions. - Me
Schindlers List is a truly haunting yet beautiful exploration of the defining years of Oskar Schindler, the german industrialist, playboy and member of the Nazi party.
I won't go into too much detail, but Schindlers List is a film that everybody should see at least once in their lives. Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley are fantastic in their roles but the real standout is Ralph Fiennes' Amon Goeth. Goeth was a monster and Fiennes brings a performance unlike anything I've ever seen before. A man who knows his days are numbered yet continues to exact his fury upon the inhabitants of Płaszów.
The bluray itself was nothing special, but then again, most 90s movies don't tend to age that well from a visual/audio standpoint.
