As a fan of the original, I found this one to be a somewhat decent sequel, despite its deviations from the original. It was unoriginal in its resemblance to Nightmare on Elm Street, with the antagonist being a demon residing within their dreams. While some individuals may find it frightening, I personally believe it lacks the originality of its predecessor. This could be summarized as the common pitfall of sequels failing to meet expectations.
