I just watched this for the first time in 20 years. All I remebered about it was that after watching it the first time it removed any notion or interest in being a New Yorker or Liberal for the rest of my life. So yeah that was only reconfirmed. The jokes hit a little better tho problem is this time I am also aware of his stepkid-diddling tendencies and that certainly doesn't help ol Woody's cause. All the privilaged complaining is good cemedic relief in film format but IRL I imagine Woody is unbearable. Espesially because he is probably blaming evry other white guy at the table other than himself for everything even tho he's better off than most. I'd imagine he also has no real solutions for all those complaints. I came to realize that Jerry Seinfelds shtick is like a perfect mixture of Woody Allen and Larry David. I often read Annie Hall was Allen's best offering. To me it's not saying much especially when your obviously so 1 dimensional. Couple laughs mostly at the ironic neolib ideocracies. So, that being said.... 2.7/10
