Frightmare

Frightmare
After escaping a death sentence for her hideous crimes, a seemingly rehabilitated woman settles in an isolated farmhouse with her husband, only to ache, once more, for blood, and a crash-course in surgery. Is, indeed, her old self back?

A fun UK 70’s slasher with really excellent performances, a twisted family drama, tarot cards, driller kills, and (of course) mental health as public enemy number one. Excellent pick, Matt. I was totally engrossed with the acting and the performances here, which is not usually the case, particularly for older slasher. Damn, the voiceover on the final shot is absolutely diabolical. Loved it.
