I’ve always liked The Beach Boys, after watching this I value and appreciate them even more. I had no idea of what Brian Wilson did when creating the music to his bizarre life in the 80s. Paul Dano was definitely better in the role, but Cusack was probably the best he’s been in years. Elizabeth Banks is fantastic in this. I wish the film showed a little more of the behind the scene things. Still found interesting and now want to know more!
