“M A S H”, directed by Robert Altman, is a dark comedy set in a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital during the Korean War, where chaos, cruelty, and absurd humor collide. Altman’s signature overlapping dialogue gives the film a raw, improvisational energy. Some of its treatment of women hasn’t aged well; what once felt edgy now plays as mean-spirited. Still, despite those moments, it remains a sharp and influential film worth watching.
