This movie has some acting that may have been good at the time of its production but doesn't hold up today. And yet it is another movie in which the message makes it an amazing piece of work. All too often Americans talk about being patriotic, even while they neglect to aknowledge those who have served to protect our liberties here in the States. Our veterans go over seas to fight the battles that the Elite send them to fight, only for those who make it home carrying both visible and invisble wounds, that find themselves returning to a world that can often be unwelcoming. Those who struggle with thier mental health are often scorned and made fun of. And many live with PTSD that forever changes their lives. We need to do better for these men and women. Above all it's time to stop sacraficing lives fighting wars for the rich to get richer. Let them fight their own wars.
