A unique blend of drama, comedy, and fantasy, The Fisher King is an ambitious film with moments of brilliance but an uneven execution. Robin Williams delivers an emotionally raw and captivating performance, while Jeff Bridges brings depth to his role as a fallen radio host seeking redemption. The film explores themes of guilt, trauma, and human connection in a visually surreal way, but its pacing and tonal shifts feel jarring at times. While it has its powerful moments, it doesn’t fully land as a cohesive experience. A decent watch, but not a standout.
