I guess I’m not sipping the same kool aid as everyone else or I’m missing something. I thought that this had some funny moments, but there was a lot I didn’t like. This felt super predictable and generic. The cgi for the sins was pretty bad. The villain sucked. The jokes missed a lot. The kid version of Shazam was weak. I didn’t care for a bunch of the foster family members. This is like a Christmas leftover + Jimmy Fallon in a PG Deadpool. Maybe it was the annoying kids I sat next too, the contacts in my eyes hurting, or my girlfriend being mad that I saw this without her that is adding to this disappointing movie. Maybe it’ll be better on rewatch.
