This movie was so incredibly boring it’s unreal the praise it gets. It took me 4 sittings just to finish it. The entire plot makes no sense at all. The “dreaminess” is there and it is artistic. But the movie as a whole is nightmare. (no pun intended) The weird acting where everything feels so off and fake it’s like watching a dream of a movie where people trying to act like they’re in a movie for the entire thing. It has its moments where you feel like you finally start to understand something just to be completely thrown off 5 seconds later. From start to finish the movie I was forcing myself to keep watching. I love the ambiguity of movies but this one’s a mess. Maybe I’m missing the mark completely and I don’t understand the appeal but I’ll be the odd one out and say this movie is not even worth watching.
