An absolutely fantastic spoof of the spy genre at the time by all accounts.
Every member of the main and recurring cast is as close to perfect as you can get from ten first episode to the last.
Don Adams in particular did an absolutely spectacular job in the role of Maxwell Smart, agent 86, and in my opinion is one of the most underrated physical comedic actors of all time when it comes to slapstick humor.
While the revival attempts that followed would see a significant drop in quality for the most part, particularly the dreadful 2008 feature film, the original series is still a comedy classic and a must-watch for lovers of comedy and other Mel Brooks works.
