An unrelenting fusion of stylish chaos and operatic violence. Full Contact has ferocious energy that more than makes up for any gaps in plotting.
From barroom brawls to warehouse shootouts, to car chases- there's a ton of each. A hyper-stylized bullet ballet soaked in excess. Ringo Lam dials everything up to eleven: handheld camerawork swirls through chaos and there’s even a POV bullet shot years before Wanted made it trendy.
Full Contact is pure adrenaline. It’s less about narrative clarity and more about energy. It’s chaotic, violent, and proudly excessive.
