Ig i outgrew it by the time i reached sun and moon but ngl i think it was just them targetting a younger audience, X&Y was really aligned with me as a teen, why tf would you want to put ash in a school after all that, made no sense in the narrative, i dropped it at that point but i think for what it was and the amount of friends i have made by connecting to people through this show, it's an integral part of my life and i think everyone who lives on this earth would do themselves a service if they watch this lol.
