Venom: The Last Dance

Venom: The Last Dance
In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance.

I’ve never liked any of the Venom movies but the first 2 films were at least a slightly entertaining way to pass the time. This one is such a nothing burger, it does absolutely nothing to advance Venom or Eddie’s character and relationship, the plot and enemies suck, everyone else is boring, the fights and vfx are bland, it’s completely humourless and stupid. I knew it was gonna be bad beforehand, I just wasn’t expecting it to be this lame. I’m a completionist so I have to finish watching every franchise I started, but the Sony verse of spidey spinoffs have been a colossal waste of time. My misery will end once I finish Kraven, then we can all collectively forget about this shitshow and hope studios learn from their mistakes and start making serious and stylised superhero movies again.
