I’m not much of a found footage guy. Too often, the narrative need to keep the camera rolling creates logic breaking behaviors from the characters/camera operators. While there is some of that still here, the prank-bro youtuber angle actually works as a pretty solid enough conceit to assuage some of my usual misgivings. Plus it really helps that the film is only an hour or so long. If it had been much longer than that I probably would have dropped the score a bit. Pretty fun watch with some clever narrative turns.
