Interesting to see Cognetti do something outside of his Hell House LLC franchise. It looks decent and is competently acted. When Cognetti really wants to get a scare out of you, he can do so rather skillfully whether through build up or unexpectedly. It's an OK film where nothing really stands out but is easily enjoyable for fans of recent horror like Relic (2020), The Babadook (2014), or similar flicks. It could also have been a bit of a hidden gem with a more aggressive score, better dialog and an actual ending. Seriously, it just STOPS. Overall, an enjoyable watch.
