In a Violent Nature

When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 70-year old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it.
This is not a bad movie but suffers from certain production flaws that diminishes its effects. The biggest of which is the inconsistency of the movies camera direction and stories point of view. There are times it is from killers perspective, then a normal movie, then another characters…this is a mistake and having a single direction would have made the movie better. Additionally…about 15 minutes needed to be cut out. For a 90 minute movie it still seems too long. This movie is also a horror movie in the sense of gore, not thrills, scares or story. It is about mutilation and yucky effects. These are decent if not unrealistic and a bit fake…but there was no real CGI here but practical effects which I appreciate.
