Genuinely unsure what I've just watched, but I liked it. I have no idea what ice hockey is all about, the rules, the fights, nothing... but even so, there is something that draws you in throughout, that means all of that really doesn't mean much. It's an outsider, trying to find his place in the world, until the day that he finds his looked down upon attributes of courage, fight and spirit means something to someone, and something, and he gets his rewards... and his punches. It's bloody, funny, heart warming, inspiring and most of all, a good watch. The expected titanic finale, doesn't disappoint... but when does anything fail when Dessun Dorma plays as the backdrop. A must for sports fans, and a recommendation for anyone else.
